Stepping through the traditional, dramatic entrance of Le Royal Monceau — Raffles Paris is like being transported into the imagination of Philippe Starck. In 2010, the famous French designer transformed the legendary palace hotel into a modern and spirited space, making it one of Paris’ most creatively designed hotels. But Starck didn’t completely erase the hotel’s past — you can still see some touches of its original grandeur, including the chandeliers hanging above the lobby’s staircase.

Artists and art aficionados alike will love the hotel's art concierge, who can arrange for cultural outings, and La Librairie des Arts, a contemporary art bookstore filled with more than 700 items, including limited-edition books, art pieces and other unique gifts.
This elegant hotel also has its own 99-seat, state-of-the-art private theater, which is called The Katara Cinema.
The dining (including the popular Matsuhisa Paris) and drinking (the convivial Le Bar Long) options make Le Royal Monceau a draw.
Clarins & myBlend Spa offers a host of treatments as well as the largest pool (at 75 feet long) in a Parisian luxury hotel.
Art District, the in-house gallery, showcases work by contemporary artists in revolving exhibitions. Exceptional art is also found throughout the hotel’s public areas, including an installation of 15 life-size wooden elk and deer by Russian artist Nikolay Polissky.

The Rooms

The 85 rooms and 64 suites are inspired by the ’40s and ’50s and display Starck’s playful, cutting-edge style.
Each room is outfitted with an acoustic guitar and invitation to write on the bedside lampshades.
Art from the Paris hotel’s private collection adorn the walls and handcrafted furniture designed by Starck fill the rooms and suites.
Custom-made linens and goose-down bedding come standard, as do Clarins and myBlend toiletries.

The Restaurants

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa (more commonly referred to as "Nobu") opened Matsuhisa Paris, his first restaurant in Paris, in 2016. In the trendy palace, the restaurant continues the brand’s tradition of serving unparalleled Peruvian-Japanese fare.
Il Carpaccio has been a staple in the city for more than 30 years, serving gastronomic Italian cuisine.
The elegant Le Bar Long pays homage to the famous Long Bar in Raffles Hotel Singapore. Located in the heart of the luxury hotel, the bar serves breakfast, snacks, afternoon tea, tapas and also has a late-night menu.
Come to La Cuisine for a well-curated breakfast buffet and Sunday brunches serving everything from avocado toast and eggs Benedict to sushi and burgers.
