Maroma Spa by Guerlain takes a holistic approach to spa and well-being, harnessing the spirit and energy of the Mayan civilization.
Guerlain took inspiration from the mystical cenotes of the Riviera Maya to craft the Purifying Cenote treatment. It begins with a gentle footbath and well-focused exfoliation, accompanied by ice bubbles on the legs to activate blood circulation. This is followed by a tailored face and body massage using multiple rhythms and temperatures, creating a unique experience that intensely soothes and profoundly nourishes the skin.
The spa's design, led by international studio Tara Bernerd & Partners and done in collaboration with local artisans, features geometric shapes and handcrafted objects that honor authentic Mexican heritage while creating a sophisticated wellness sanctuary.
The Riviera Maya spa operates from a dedicated apothecary where guests can participate in Healing Remedies Workshops, learning to harvest herbs from a traditional Kaánché and creating natural balms and scrubs using a copper alembic.
Unique wellness experiences include Underwater Meditation, which combines gentle movement and singing bowls; an immersive temazcal ceremony; constellation massage aligned with the cosmos; and sound therapy sessions utilizing the healing vibrations of buzzing bees.

Guerlain’s beauty experts have been trained at its institute and aesthetic training school since 1939, ensuring they embody the brand’s excellence. Across the globe, these experts perform treatments that demand exceptional technical skill.
All healing rituals are inspired by the four elements of nature: fire, water, earth and air.
The resort collaborates with Fundación Selva Maya and Mayahuum to protect the endangered Melipona bee, with initiatives to expand resident hives to reach at least 100 new hives and introduce Guerlain's Bee School and “Women for Bees” programs into Yucatán communities.

The signature Bee Healing Ritual is a two-hour honey-based treatment that calls on Guerlain's treasured Abeille Royale collection. This enveloping ritual offers facial and body exfoliation, a soothing massage using warm herbal pouches and a deeply regenerative scalp treatment, renowned for its effective healing powers and spiritual connection to the sacred Melipona bee.
The Talisman of Immunity is a holistic ritual offering full skin, body and spirit protection. It combines the effectiveness of the black orchid to defend against skin aging with the strength of black obsidian, a sacred Mexican stone that helps improve grounding and find balance in this transformative wellness experience.
With Spirit of Mayab Music, your body and mind vibrate with the sounds of nature during a restorative massage. This journey allows the unconscious to take over the conscious, immersing you in a unique and transformative experience.
The Mayan Power—Fire Element treatment is designed to soothe and revitalize tired muscles through a combination of specialized massage techniques and the warmth of hot spheres. The Facilities

The luxury spa features nine treatment rooms, including two couples suites, all with direct views of the jungle.
The hydrotherapy circuit includes indoor saunas separated for males and females, open-air facilities surrounded by nature, a steam room, cold plunge pool and warm and hot pools.
The tranquil pool area is surrounded by emerald bush, creating your own slice of Mayan paradise alongside the traditional hammam. The spa's beauty salon provides comprehensive services, while the fully equipped gym features state-of-the-art Technogym equipment complemented by natural bamboo cane ceilings.
The onsite Meliponario houses and protects the endangered stingless Melipona bee species, considered sacred to the Maya. A trained Mayan beekeeper hosts workshops on the significance of the species' survival, allowing guests to experience the medicinal and culinary benefits of these revered creatures.
The yoga pavilion, Palapa Corazón, is a wellness space that offers sunrise meditation on the beach, ashtanga-style yoga classes overlooking the tranquil jungle, sound healing sessions, breathwork and Pilates classes that embrace the mind-soothing practice of mindful movement.
