Conrad Los Angeles’ signature restaurant is among the many culinary concepts he shepherds here under the José Andrés Group umbrella but the one most worth your appetite.
Located in a wood-and-neutrals-filled space on the hotel’s 10th floor with bird’s-eye views of downtown L.A.’s Walt Disney Concert Hall, San Laurel offers a dining experience you’ll still be talking about for months to come. Expect some molecular gastronomy marvels from his now-shuttered L.A. restaurant (Bazaar). A California in-season produce ethos meets Spanish cuisine on a menu that offers a dizzying array of impressive options, like the bone-in wagyu Blackhawk Farms rib-eye, the tomato tartare (an Andrés fan favorite) and lobster salpicon.
Taste this California-Spain hybrid not only for dinner, but for breakfast as well with dishes like toast montaditos (crusty bread with various toppings including scrambled eggs and jamón Ibérico, or whipped ricotta, cherry tomatoes and sumac) and huevos “El Camino” (egg whites with labneh, nasturtium, croutons, caviar and a yolk sauce).
