Silversea’s Silver Dawn may appear similar to other vessels in the brand’s fleet at first glance, but this ship elevates the brand’s signature all-inclusive luxury experience to a whole new level. Tuxedo-clad butlers assigned to every room, all-suite accommodations and complimentary caviar available at any time help set the elevated experience in motion.

The new Otium Spa concept is inspired by the thermal pleasures enjoyed by ancient Romans. Indulgence is not only encouraged at the 8,500-square-foot spa, but with a decadent Otium comfort food menu for room service and butler-drawn suite baths, the sensory journey can extend long after your treatment.

But even with all the fresh amenities, Silversea devotees will be relieved to know that beloved staples such as the charcuterie board at La Terrazza, the welcome glass of champagne and the exceptional service across the ship remain unchanged.

Our Inspector's Highlights

The Otium wellness program sets Silver Dawn apart from other ships in the Silversea line. The Otium ethos is seamlessly integrated into life onboard, extending beyond the spa to include in-suite offerings such as pillow menus and curated balcony experiences.
Outside the spa, the opulent touches continue. Guests will find cashmere blankets draped over their cabin's veranda, a butler assigned to each room and a room service menu that includes truffled popcorn and brioche foie gras burgers.
The nine dining venues provide a variety of culinary options. Standouts include the destination-driven S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) Kitchen and the elegant Atlantide for dinner.
Though accommodations range from the quaint Vista Suite (335 square feet) to the two-bedroom Owner’s Suite (more than 1,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor space), all units promise a comfortable couch, an espresso machine, a writing desk and more.
The Otium Sleeping Experience includes a mattress with an essential oil-infused, 400-pocket spring system, a customizable pillow menu and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets from Rivolta Carmignani created exclusively for Silversea.

Things to Know

All passengers, regardless of whether they have booked a treatment at Otium Spa, can enjoy the facility’s steam rooms and saunas at no cost.
With the exception of the outdoor pizzeria Spaccanapoli, all dining venues require a reservation for dinner. Your butler will be more than happy to assist you in making a booking.
No jeans are allowed in any indoor dining venue after 6 p.m., and passengers tend to dress up for dinner, so pack accordingly.
Two restaurants charge a supplemental fee: La Dame, which serves high-end French cuisine, and Kaiseki, which offers Japanese-influenced fare.
With cooking classes (S.A.L.T. Lab), a cigar refuge (Connoisseur’s Corner), a casino and more, there is plenty to keep you occupied on the ship between meals and shore excursions.
