VERIFIED LUXURY

Since opening its doors in 2015, The Reverie Saigon has been lauded for its stunning design, unrivaled locale and remarkable attention to detail.

Situated a stone’s throw away from the prestigious Dong Khoi Street in District 1, The Reverie Saigon boasts world-class hospitality that is well-matched with avant-garde color schemes and haute Italian design. The Saigon hotel is home to the city’s largest and most exquisite rooms and suites; each of the spaces includes supreme views of the ever-growing urban sprawl through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Reverie Saigon is a top choice for international and local celebrities, and with extravagant décor, attentive service and an elegant vibe, it’s no wonder why. Whether you’re a celebrity or not, this luxury property won’t disappoint.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • The Reverie Saigon is built within the city’s landmark Times Square tower, the third-tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City, and fifth tallest in Vietnam. The building’s main entrance is on Nguyen Hue — also known as “walking street” — a picturesque boulevard that’s home to trendy cafés, boutique and designer stores and a thriving nighttime atmosphere.
  • Many of the furniture pieces throughout the property were specifically designed for The Reverie Saigon. The furnishings’ blueprints were conceptualized by the likes of high-end creators such as Visionnaire, Colombostile and Giorgetti.
  • The Spa at The Reverie Saigon is one of the noteworthy amenities of this Ho Chi Minh City hotel. Aside from enjoying relaxing treatments atop 400-thread-count sheets covering Earthlite spa beds, you can also opt to detox within a Himalayan salt-charged steam room or ease your mind by stepping into the serene, color-changing sauna (each shifting hue represents your chakras).
  • Although The Reverie Saigon’s ground-level main lobby is decorated with custom-made Murano glass and is a sight to behold, the real star of the show is the seventh-floor lobby. Intricate mosaic floral art adorns the walls; a custom-made, emerald-toned Baldi Monumental clock encrusted with 24-karat gold gilded trim is a prominent feature; and the Baroque 16-foot-long eggplant-purple ostrich leather sofa, a custom-designed piece by Colombostile, is hard to miss.
  • In the rooms, luxury infuses every detail, from the herbal tea provided by respected French brand Dammann Frères to hand soaps and lotions in select suites from Hermès and Acqua di Parma.

Things to Know

  • If you aren’t willing or able to brave the hectic traffic in Saigon, request the services of the hotel’s private chef.
  • A number of chauffeured house cars, including a Rolls-Royce and Bentley, ensure that you can cruise around town in style.
  • Take the Ho Chi Minh City hotel’s style home with you by perusing the property’s lower levels, which offer pieces from select furniture showrooms such as Prememoria, Venini, Salda, Villari and Luxury Living. You can also customize your options by hiring one of the hotel’s in-house Italian designers.
  • While the stylish pool is an excellent addition to the luxury property, those interested in sunbathing may have to look elsewhere, as the design doesn’t allow for optimal sun exposure. Don’t forget to catch the poolside light show in the evenings with a cocktail.

The Rooms

  • Each of the hotel’s 286 guest rooms features a unique design. Choose from elegant and classic European surroundings or modern and eclectic vibes. But no matter which style you pick, rest assured that plush Frette linens are provided in each room.
  • While all of the accommodations in this luxury hotel have spectacular views of the city below, the most impressive vistas come from the corner rooms on the upper floors.
  • Each of the bathrooms comes equipped with personal televisions over the soaking tubs and Japanese Toto smart toilets.

The Restaurants

  • While each of the dining options is superb, Café Cardinal is a standout. A wonderful blend of chic modernity and jazzy ambience, the all-day eatery serves continental cuisine throughout breakfast and lunch and French fare in the evening.
  • Those on the go can grab quick and tasty options from The Deli for breakfast and lunch. Pick up fresh pastries, from-scratch soups and savory sandwiches.
  • Complementing the hotel’s design inspiration, two Italian eateries craft delightful delicacies. R&J turns out traditional red sauce fare in a contemporary setting, and The Long at Times Square is the city’s famed wood-fired pizza kitchen cooking up chef Ciro Sorrentino’s signature pies and more than 30 gelato options.
  • Those interested in dining in splendor will love The Royal Pavilion. The extravagant restaurant, designed with traditional Chinese style in mind, provides East Asian staples such as dim sum and honey-glazed pork.
