J.K. Place Paris

Parisian elegance with an Italian soul
VERIFIED LUXURY
As J.K. Place’s first venture outside Italy, this fashionable 29-room retreat occupies a former hôtel particulier — a grand private mansion — in the 7th arrondissement. Tucked on a quiet side street off the Seine, J.K. Place Paris is just minutes from the Musée d’Orsay and Tuileries Garden yet blissfully removed from the crowds of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Co-founder Ori Kafri and Florentine architect and interior designer Michele Bönan brought the brand’s signature warmth to Paris, curating a space that feels intimate and lived in. Eclectic furniture, vintage lamps and flea market finds blend seamlessly in the art-filled lounge, where guests sip coffee or cocktails as if in their own living room.

Continuing the residential atmosphere, the accommodations exude understated luxury with Parisian moldings, Italian marble bathrooms and decorative fireplaces. A relaxing spa, fitness center, indoor pool, beloved Italian restaurant and heartfelt Italian service round out the indulgent experience.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Nothing here feels cookie-cutter. While all rooms embrace a contemporary-chic aesthetic — neutral tones accented by plum-hued velvet and plush carpets — each is uniquely styled, evoking the charm of a fashionable friend’s penthouse. Walk-in wardrobes add to the indulgence — tempting guests to browse the many nearby boutiques.
  • A neighborhood favorite, Casa Tua — the first international offshoot for the Miami-based Italian eatery— feels like a stylish trattoria straight out of Rome or Milan. For lighter bites, the Lounge Bar offers elevated snacks like mini sea bream burgers and quail egg canapés alongside expertly crafted cocktails.
  • Like many Paris boutique hotels, J.K. Place utilizes every inch of space. The subterranean spa, for example, features a centerpiece pool — large enough to swim laps in — that doubles as a place to relax after you hit the steam room or sauna.
  • When it comes to treatments, J.K. Place Paris is the only hotel in the city to partner with the late Nobel Prize-winning chemist Fraser Stoddart’s skincare brand, Noble Panacea, offering treatments that incorporate LED light therapy, Japanese kobido facial massage techniques and lifting microcurrent technology.
  • The well-designed J.K. Gym may have a compact floor plan, but it feels spacious enough to accommodate multiple guests without feeling crowded. Expect top-of-the-line Technogym equipment, plus private trainers and one-on-one yoga and Pilates sessions upon request.

Things to Know

  • Thanks to the quiet street, even rooms facing Rue de Lille are just as desirable as those overlooking the leafy courtyard restaurant.
  • Breakfast, served at Casa Tua, features a classic French spread of hot drinks, juices and pastries, along with à la carte options like pancakes, eggs Benedict, poached egg-topped avocado toast and chia pudding.
  • If traveling with little ones, we’d recommend a J.K. Junior suite, which can accommodate a crib or extra bed with advanced notice.
  • The beauty studio offers a range of services, from manicures and pedicures to hairstyling, makeup application and waxing.
  • In addition to 24-hour housekeeping, room service, concierge assistance and gym access, J.K. Place Paris includes breakfast and mini-bar soft drinks in the nightly rate.
