The David Harman-designed golf course is a major draw for players around the globe. Its simple layout works with the landscape to spectacular effect — the natural ebb and flow of the foothills present more challenges than you might expect.
Dinner and breakfast are included in your stay, the latter best enjoyed on the breezy veranda. Evening meals feature premium New Zealand bounty (don’t miss the lamb) paired with locally bottled wines.
Adventure options include guided hikes through native bush, helicopter rides along the coastline and private surf or fishing excursions, all tailored to your experience level.
Like the golf course, the Spa at Rosewood Kauri Cilffs is seamlessly integrated into its surroundings; the outdoor relaxation lounge is tucked among the Totara forest’s tropical foliage and the infinity pool stretches straight out to the horizon.
Rosewood Kauri Cliffs grants access to three unique stretches of sand: Little Takou Bay, Pink Beach and Waiaua Bay. Thanks to the resort’s secluded address, you’re likely to have at least one of these beaches all to yourself during your stay.
