Music City’s skyline gets an elegant new addition with the 21-story The Joseph, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville. The new-build hotel opened in August 2020 in the SoBro district, bringing with it an Italian restaurant helmed by a celebrity chef, an enticing rooftop pool and bar, a full-service spa and about 26,000 square feet of versatile event space.
The 297 rooms exude sophistication and warmth with materials like copper, oak, marble and brown leather. They also showcase local touches, like unique pieces from Tennessee artists. In fact, art plays a prominent role throughout the Nashville hotel. It’s no surprise, given The Joseph is owned by longtime art advocates the Pizzuti family. One-of-a-kind works adorn everything from the porte cochère to the public areas.
- The hotel's masterpiece fine dining spot, Yolan, is named in tribute to the owner, Tony Mantuanoa's grandmother and focuses on authentic Italian fare. By day, the space transforms into Café Yolan and serves breakfast, brunch and lunch, completed by the hotel's signature espresso bar.
- The Nashville hotel is like an art museum, displaying nearly 1,000 works that include paintings, sculptures, digital and mixed media. Some of the featured artists are Hank Willis Thomas, Marcel Wanders, Karen Seapker and Brie Ruais.
- Perched on the top floor of the luxury hotel, the 5,500-square-foot Rose spa offers a refuge. Every treatment starts with a foot scrub with rose-infused products in a copper basin.
- Rooftop bar Denim serves craft cocktails, American and Italian bites and beautiful views of Nashville’s skyline. Above the bar, you’ll find panels of recycled denim in various shades of blue.
