Grand Hyatt Nashville

Music City’s luxurious high note
VERIFIED LUXURY

Grand Hyatt Nashville rises above the Music City’s luxury hotel fray in a host of ways. For starters, the 25-floor structure dwarfs many of downtown’s other buildings. And then there’s the property’s tall roster of amenities. From the city’s highest outdoor lounge and a world-class spa to seven food and beverage options, this 591-room stunner goes to great heights to ensure an unforgettable stay.

But even with these lofty extras, the property stands firm on its Tennessee roots. Of course, there are Jack Daniel’s cocktails flowing at the bar, live music bellows in the lobby and delicious Nashville hot chicken comes from the kitchen. So, no matter how high your room sits in the sky here, you’ll always feel grounded in an authentic Nashville experience.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Opened in October 2020, the towering, glass-encompassed Grand Hyatt Nashville is already a symbol of high-end elegance for the new 18-acre neighborhood Nashville Yards. In a subtle nod to the address’ former transportation hub and lumberyard life, you’ll find strong architectural lines, hard woods and recessed fireplaces throughout the property.
  • Whether you’re considering a room or one of the 53 suites, the unit promises floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the Gulch or downtown, industrial-inspired light fixtures and a beautiful bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and Balmain toiletries.
  • The fitness center and pool are on the same level as the spa. The former is filled with the latest Technogym equipment. The latter is an infinity-edged vision looking onto the city. Both are delights that invite you to burn as much or as little energy as you’d like.
  • lou/na, a 25th-floor rooftop bar with indoor and outdoor seating, serves arguably the best views of the city.
  • Seasonal fun is immensely important at Grand Hyatt Nashville. During the summer, expect five-course dinners in the pool and come wintertime, the area surrounding the Solstice lounge transforms into Santa’s village. And when other holidays and big events roll around, the Nashville hotel often gets in on the fun with themed activations as well.

Things to Know

  • This is one of the most ideally situated luxury hotels in the city. Grand Hyatt Nashville sits close enough to Assembly Food Hall on Broadway that you can almost smell what’s cooking on the grill, but it’s far enough that you don’t hear every boot stomp at the honky-tonk. Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame and other area attractions are also a breeze to get to by foot.
  • From the R+R Wellness name, you know this spa’s mission is to help you recharge and replenish. The fifth-floor facility does just that in 10 treatment rooms centered around revitalizing your body (scalp therapy) and mind (rhythm-powered Wellness Journey).
  • Weekend visitors aren’t the only ones who appreciate the centrally located property. Because of more than 80,000 square feet of event space, the hotel is also a popular destination for conferences. With massive ballrooms, wood-embellished meeting areas and cozy booths, there’s a seating arrangement for any work engagement.
  • The gridiron has a special place in this Grand Hyatt’s heart. SEC Football held its 2023 media day there. A few NFL teams have been known to stay at Grand Hyatt Nashville, too, when in town to play the Tennessee Titans. After all, Nissan Stadium is but a mile away.

The Food and Drinks

  • It doesn’t matter if you’re in the mood for a light bite and coffee (Hummingbird) or a larger meal (Nashville Grange), Grand Hyatt Nashville has something cooked up for you.
  • Grand Club Lounge may be exclusive to certain World of Hyatt tiers, but its lineup of breakfast items, all-day snacks and evening bites in a comfortable, spacious private area will have everyone at the luxury hotel peeking behind its doors.
  • For those moments you’re simply in the mood for a drink and conversation, you can find both at Aurum, a ground-floor lounge with good drinks and wonderful live musicians. Another great spot for a round is Bar Continental off the lobby, where revered local chef Sean Brock’s team presents its version of a vinyl lounge with food, including a Sunday prime rib cart.
