The Carlton’s glow-up by Rocco Forte Hotels is pure Milanese magic. Designers Polizzi, Moschino and Vergeylen pull off a chic sleight of hand: hand-painted wallpapers, gleaming marble and buttery leathers that look like they belong in a Bottega ad. The design is less hotel, more collector’s home — refined, radiant, and refreshingly un-themed.
The 1,216-square-foot Carlton Presidential Suite spans the building with a terrace floating above Via della Spiga. If you prefer something a little more Duomo-adjacent, the Galleria Suite’s twin terraces are a love letter to the city’s skyline. Additionally, all suites come with Irene Forte amenities, in-suite check-in and enough room to unpack your fashion haul.
Tucked away like Milan’s best finds, the Irene Forte Spa delivers facials with microcurrents, radio frequencies and other beautifully buzzy touches. The three-treatment-room sanctuary presents a welcome reset button after a day of showroom-hopping.
