- A 17th-century private estate in the heart of Mallorca’s countryside, the hotel affords expansive views of Puigpunyent Valley’s olive groves, vineyards and distant mountains. The tranquil location feels like a peaceful retreat, far removed from the bustle of the island’s more tourist-heavy spots.
- The intimate spa provides a peaceful sanctuary, complete with a heated saltwater pool, Turkish bath and Japanese onsen in addition to its five natural light-filled treatment rooms.
- Mar & Duix’s elevated menu sees local ingredients (some sourced from the hotel’s onsite garden) incorporated into dishes like spice-glazed suckling goat shoulder or grilled sea bass with orange beurre blanc, served in a charming dining room that extends onto a breezy terrace.
- History seeps through the colorful boutique hotel, which dates back to 1672. Grand Hotel Son Net retained its original courtyard, chapel and spring-fed well, while interior designer Lorenzo Castillo restored the stone floors, antique fireplaces and other elements.
