Our Inspector's Highlights

  • A treat for art lovers, Rosewood Hong Kong is home to an extensive collection of must-see works by such lauded names as celebrated British contemporary artist Damien Hirst, whose Zodiac paintings can be found in The Butterfly Room (where afternoon tea is served), as well as the majestic Pair of Walking Figures – Jubilee, a life-sized sculpture by British artist Lynn Chadwick in the lobby.
  • From the graceful cobblestone driveway and the homey lanterns to the repeating geometric motifs and jewel-like chandeliers, celebrated hospitality designer Tony Chi marries traditional Chinese touches with modern sensibilities.
  • Asaya on the sixth floor,is one of the most comprehensive integrated urban wellness concepts in the city with a spa, gym, outdoor infinity pool and clean, nutrient-rich dishes at Asaya Kitchen. Going beyond the usual spa services, Asaya also features several in-house practitioners and visiting gurus who can help you with nutrition, physical training, psychology, mobility, meditation and naturopathy. And you can even enjoy cocooning wellness stays at the Asaya Lodges on the seventh floor.
  • The culinary options are bountiful. Eleven dining rooms range from signature Chinese restaurant The Legacy House to ultra-feminine tea lounge The Butterfly Room.
  • Come evening, check out DarkSide bar for live jazz, an inviting terrace and expertly crafted libations. There’s also a speakeasy, which specializes in thematic cocktails, but you’ll need the password to enter.
