Named after Victoria, a member of the fifth generation in the Albar family of hoteliers, the November 2024-opened resort is one of the few true luxury options in Nice’s seafront Carré d’Or designer district.

Blending in well with its fashionable neighbors, Maison Albar – Le Victoria will be a high-end shopping destination itself when the ground-floor gallery of boutiques moves in. Its prime location on the edge of the crescent-shaped Promenade des Anglais guarantees sweeping sea and city views from private balconies and terraces, as well as the hotel’s pièce de résistance — the rooftop bar, restaurant and infinity pool — where you’ll have panoramic vistas over Nissa la Bella, the Côte d’Azur’s unofficial capital.

All of the rooms and suites are designed with sophisticated, timeless touches like statement-making bedside crystal light fixtures and marble-clad bathrooms.
Noted chefs Fred Grava and Glenn Viel are behind the Provençal menu at rooftop restaurant Taulissa, where dishes like barbecue-grilled artichoke with coriander pesto and langoustine with citrus and black garlic mayonnaise embrace local, seasonal ingredients.
Despite being on the boutique side, the hotel’s centerpiece Oria Spa spans nearly 7,000 square feet, making it feel like an urban sanctuary. In addition to a marble indoor pool, mosaic-lined Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna, six treatment rooms offer a range of facial and body services — the signature involving a decadent, 24K-gold face mask.
The Nice hotel’s 30 suites feature lounge areas and soaking tubs, with the top-floor Suite Victoria and Suite Céline opening to expansive sea view terraces that measure nearly the same size as the rooms.
Suites are outfitted with sofa beds and can sleep up to three people. Connecting rooms are also available on request if you’re traveling as a family or group.
