Forbes Travel Guide performs independent, incognito inspections of all hotels we rate. This is what we paid when we stayed at this hotel.

Our Inspector's Highlights

Featuring a palette of taupe, tan, gray and beige, the French décor of rooms and suites — complete with damask and striped wallpapers, classic chandeliers, elegant chaise lounges and dark wood furniture — conveys a sense of quiet, Old World grandeur. Ask for a Grand Deluxe Room with a view over the Dubai Water Canal — the perfect scene by which to enjoy your morning cup of coffee from the in-room espresso machine. Marble bathrooms come with free-standing bathtubs, separate showers and dual vanities.
Make use of the butler service, available to all guests at the luxury hotel, to have your bags packed and clothing pressed on request.
The luxurious Silk Spa offers a variety of massages, facials and body treatments in six treatment rooms. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your service to make use of the wet facilities such as the sauna, steam room and hammam.
To relax, choose from two outdoor rooftop swimming pools where pool butlers hand out fruit sticks, smoothies, cold towels and sunscreen.
