The arrival experience immediately sets the tone, welcoming guests into a soaring lobby anchored by a dramatic sculptural installation inspired by Taíno heritage. It’s an impressive introduction to the resort’s design-led approach and meaningful cultural references.
Designed by architect Antonio Segundo Imbert and Adriana Hoyos Design Studio, the resort feels remarkably secluded thanks to its expansive, low-rise layout, where contemporary architecture is woven into lush jungle landscaping.
Dining spans 17 restaurants, bars and lounges, replacing the traditional all-inclusive buffet with a collection of standalone restaurants and casual venues. Standouts include Caribbean restaurant Toa, Thai-inspired Boba and classic Italian spot, Manicato.
The 16,000-square-foot Acana Spa & Wellness is designed as a tranquil cave-inspired sanctuary centered around an outdoor vitality pool inspired by ojos de agua (natural springs). A hydrotherapy circuit, thermal facilities and treatments featuring Dominican botanicals, sacred cacao and warm quartz sand complete the restorative experience.
