The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts
Old-school luxury in a surprising location
VERIFIED LUXURY
Here are five things to know about us:
1. We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
2. We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
3. Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
4. While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience at a hotel, restaurant or spa goes beyond looks — how it makes you feel is what you will remember most.
5. We started in1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.

These properties deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service.
Four-Star

Just a short drive from Hamad International Airport and the sparkling lights of West Bay, and an even shorter walk to museums and the iconic Corniche, The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts has an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers.
The Plaza Doha does not skimp on the luxurious details. “Elegant” is the key word for this hotel, from the soaring lobby to the understated rooms and the gilded details.
The show-stopping lobby sets the scene, bookended by sweeping staircases and overseen by a cascading glass chandelier. The centerpiece is a surprising one-of-a-kind statue – the Babolex Falcon Gold by French contemporary artist Vincent Faudemer. European-inspired furnishings, marble bathrooms and high-end finishings throughout the hotel amp up the wow factor.
The hotel boasts three restaurants, including the all-day New York brunch export Sarabeth’s and a lobby lounge as popular for business meetings as it is for its menu of classic Arabic and Mediterranean dishes.
The glamorous rooftop infinity pool is complemented by a hot tub and another smaller pool. A gold tiled sauna, a hot and cold area and a fully equipped state-of-the-art gym round out the leisure offerings.
