Amelia Island

Amelia Island is best known for its bluff-height dunes and white, wide beaches. The small barrier island located in Florida’s northernmost point is a quaint spot to enjoy 13 miles of gleaming beaches and unspoiled, natural beauty. Catch views of Cumberland Island and the Georgia coast from Amelia Island, separated from the mainland by St. Mary’s River on the north, the Amelia River Intracoastal Waterway on the west and Nassau Sound on the south.

The island itself has a colorful past — it’s been part of France, Spain and Mexico, among other countries.
