Raffles at Galaxy Macau

An all-suite retreat on the Cotai Strip
VERIFIED LUXURY

The home-away-from-home concept reaches luxurious new heights at Raffles at Galaxy Macau. Part of the ever-expanding Galaxy Macau luxury hospitality complex, this property places you in the heart of the high-rolling action on the Cotai Strip with a surprisingly sumptuous twist. The all-suite retreat boasts the largest accommodations of any Raffles hotel in the world and provides the tantalizing trappings you’ve come to expect from the brand, including private pools, cutting-edge technology and round-the-clock butler service to cater to your every need.

Accommodations may be a highlight, but luxurious touches are de rigor at this Cotai Strip stunner. Grand European-inspired interiors dripping with marble, crystal and etched glass harken back to a bygone era, while modern artworks bring grandeur squarely into the 21st century. Still, the showstopper here is the hotel’s gilded exterior — an extravagant hint as to the luxury that lies within.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • The Macau hotel makes a striking first impression with its gleaming, gilded exterior. The two-towered structure appears as one glimmering skyscraper thanks to a glass sky bridge that connects the buildings on every floor and offers stellar Macau vistas, to boot.
  • Imagined as the 14th-century residence of a fictional Italian merchant, the old-world-inspired interiors are as stunning as the facade. The jaw-dropping centerpiece of the marble entryway is a custom 50-foot-tall chandelier adorned with 500,000 crystals anchored to a programmable backlit glass ceiling.
  • An eclectic collection of nature-influenced artworks is on display throughout the hotel grounds. Highlights include snowflake-themed sculpture Festive Times by Singaporean artist Sun Yu-Li, an installation of 222 porcelain magnolia flowers dubbed Evergreen from China-based sculptor Chen Chun Hua and Bulgarian-born artist Latchezar Boyadjiev’s trio of glass rings named Relationship.
  • The luxury hotel’s signature East-meets-West heritage is on full display during afternoon tea. Hosted in the Raffles Lounge & Terrace, the service includes an array of European and Chinese teas served alongside an eclair trolley filled with French patisserie to pair with your brew.
  • Those looking for a break from the excitement of the Cotai Strip can head for Raffles at Galaxy Macau’s serene infinity pool. Lounge in a cabana, take a dip overlooking the Grand Resort Deck or enjoy poolside bites at the glass-encased Belvedere pavilion.

The Rooms

  • You can’t go wrong with any of Raffles at Galaxy Macau’s 450 luxuriously appointed suites. Starting at a sumptuous 840 square feet, all accommodations boast an in-room fireplace and 65-inch Samsung Frame TVs that double as works of art when not in use.
  • Grey tones with marble accents and plenty of natural light from large picture windows keep all suites feeling light and airy. Pops of purple, burgundy and cocoa add richness, while crystal chandeliers, mirrored accents and contemporary art create an upscale, gallery-like feel.
  • For extra privacy, check into one of the luxury hotel’s pool suites. Terrace Pool Suites have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub all surrounded by a lush privacy garden, while Raffles Signature Pool Suites enjoy a larger pool and hot tub, extra indoor space and posh perks such as in-suite check-in and Cotai or Hengqin island views.
  • Enjoy a taste of loft living when you check into the Deluxe Duplex Suite. The two-story unit features pool and city views from double-height smart glass windows with the option of privacy frosting and a chrome-lined staircase that showcases form and function.
